Paris 2024 Games: A Look At The Ambiance And Feel

I am privileged to be in Paris, the city of lights, a hundred years later seeing the games here. It was an embodiment of art and most enchanting. Paris 2024 Games were an ode to art as much as they were an ode to sports. The facilities were built in a manner that met the basic purpose of serving as goes without saying the venues were built in a manner that highlights both the modern architecture and the traditional French themes and cultural backgrounds. Ever since the International Olympic committee awarded Paris the privileges of hosting the 2024 Olympiad the mood has been one of excitement, anticipation, and celebration. Other distinctions for Paris 2024 have been employing renowned landmarks in Paris as event venues like the Seine River which was the first ever Olympic opening ceremony ever held outside of a standard stadium. Paris once again has shown why it’s an important city in the world. The games are still underway but the Paralympians are already creating records and writing history.

Paris is considered the city of love. Therefore, marriage proposals were a popular and romantic gesture during the games. The Games offered an ideal and rather romantic background for people to be loved and to show their love to their partners. Alessandro Ossola, an Italian sprinter, recently proposed to his girlfriend during the Paralympic games. Other athletes proposed to their partners on the podium after winning a medal, and around Paris creating a memorable and emotional moment for everyone involved.

The Games brought forth the essence of French classy, polite and hospitality nature. From the opening ceremony to the closing celebrations, Paris is set to deliver a memorable and unforgettable experience. The LVMH group which is a premium partner of the games has been seen present in the opening ceremony from the Louis Vuitton case to Celine Dion’s dress. Yseult’s Dior dress during the closing ceremony has been among the discussions of French fashion.

45,000 volunteers who will participate in the Paris 2024 Games. The Paris 2024 Organising Committee called on the expertise of French sporting goods retailer, Decathlon, to create a uniform in line with their values, combining functionality and comfort. Gifted a uniform for their service that is unforgettable to the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in France; some volunteers are cashing in on their uniforms and some are reselling for as little as 385€ for the bucket hat

Everybody loved Snoop Dogg who we must say was the face of the Paris 2024 Olympics. Snoop Dogg showed his support for athletes. His presence at the Games helped to bridge the gap between sports and popular culture, attracting new audiences to the event and showcasing the diversity of the Olympic movement. It is undeniable that his involvement in the Paris 2024 Olympics added a unique and exciting dimension to the Games, helping to create an enjoyable and unforgettable experience for athletes and spectators alike.

The Olympic and Paralympic Games come with overcrowding and distress to the city’s inhabitants but this has not been felt this time. The public transport network was encouraged with a smaller interval between the times to avoid congestion at any one time. Some lines have been expanded and specific lanes were designated for public transport vehicles to improve travel times and reduce congestion to accommodate the expected influx of visitors and athletes. This included additional trains, buses, and tram lines.

The Paris 2024 Games focused on sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation. This approach has generated a positive buzz and an extraordinary event as well as an amazing spectacle that will remain a powerful memory of the city and the sphere of sports. Temporary venues were designed to be dismantled and reused or recycled after the Games. After that solar power was used at some of the facilities such as the Aquatics Centre and the Olympic Village, harnessing solar energy. The Games encouraged the use of public transportation and sustainable modes of transport to reduce traffic congestion and emissions. Though the public metro transport system was criticised, the organisers ensured that the Games were accessible to all, including differently-abled bodied people.
