House of Thairu is a company that tackles emerging issues surrounding us. House of Thairu presents the elephant’s narrative in geometric patterns and forms in women’s and men’s fashion and textiles. Outside the abstraction surface of much geometric print lies a rich past of the African Bush Elephant. In this instance, the elephant’s trunk has been intertwined in the print as a metaphor for the belief that work and daily activities and essence cannot be separated. Both muted and bold colour combinations are picked to illustrate a sharp and graphic sensibility, characterized by the Savannah colours. The brand believes that the great animal should be protected so that generations to come can marvel at its beauty, making the dream live on.
We hope you’ll love the new season as much as we enjoyed it!
